Basically no. VAT of 7% and the accommodation tax Berlin of 5% are included in the price. Likewise, other services such as cleaning fee, pool and sports room use, washing machine, bike rental are among the free services for you. The only exception is the firewood of the fireplace if you use it more than once during your stay.
In the bar with calendar (arrival, departure), guest and search on the cover photos of almost every page, simply enter the desired accommodation dates and the number of guests and press search. Then you will be marked the options and prices and you can press Book and follow the check-out process.
Yes, by email through the booking system. And even if you booked by phone, I will ask for your email address and send you a booking confirmation.
As is also common with many booking platforms, you pay the full price directly upon booking / reservation (in case of bank transfer: within one week) to validate the booking. This rule is based on past experiences of short-term cancellations and no-shows despite booking. In case of timely cancellation (see below) you will get your money back within one week.
Of course you will receive an invoice on request, printed, by email or both. It is best to tell me your name and billing address and any requests and you will find the invoice in your mailbox or receive it directly from me.
It depends on how you have booked. If you booked directly on this website, you can also use the booking tool to cancel. If you booked on a platform like AirBnB or booking.com, please cancel your reservation there.
Up to one week before (7th day of arrival) you can cancel free of charge.
If you cancel up to one day before arrival you will get 50% back. From the day of booking you have to pay the full price.
In case of force majeure such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes and also terrorist attacks (at your place, on the route or here) as well as strikes (of the railroad or the airline) you can cancel free of charge until your arrival. This also applies if you have to shorten your stay due to this.
However, a general threat situation is not sufficient for this.
Until one week before arrival you can cancel free of charge anyway. If a pandemic is officially declared within these seven days, you can of course cancel the booking without any disadvantages. However, if the pandemic is already officially declared at the time of booking, the regular cancellation conditions apply (within one week 50%, from the day of arrival 100%).
If you fall ill at short notice, this is not only regrettable for your health: because this is now one of the personal reasons for travel cancellation, which you can cover if necessary through an appropriate insurance. Unfortunately, the illness does not entitle you to a refund.
